General Supplies Around Blake Sea Area

As a frequent traveler in Blake Sea area, recently a question popped up in my mind. Where do the residents living in the private island parcels get their daily general supplies to live the comfortable island lifestyle?

Although this is a virtual world and technically speaking our avatars do not really need to eat or drink, but for the sake of immersion in the game, I could not help but ask myself this question.

So, I set out to find places with general supply stores. And here are what I found:

1. Freeport Township of Flotsam, China. Blake Sea

This is one of the early Blake Sea regions near the pirate infested water where you can get a variety of general supplies (a SL landmark in fact) such as food, fish, herbs, gun-powder & fishing supplies. It also has bars and a fast food restaurant. The whole place has a pirate theme. You can safely stop and have your boat rezzed for 30 minutes. Just be careful of the pirates prying around the water nearby.

2. Flex Gym and Adventure Club

Flex is a small island parcel located in Mystic, Sailor Cove East towards the southern end of Blake Sea. It has an open air beach gym, a bar, places to hangout and a small general supply store that provides fresh meat, fish, canned food, drink, biscuits, gasoline and more items are added each day. The rez area at the jetty allows a rezzing time of up to 60 minutes.

3. Little Gull Island This is owned by Mr. BarryAlpengeist, the owner of of Mountain Ghost Creations (MGC) store in the Marketplace.

There is a small workshop where you can get your boat repaired; a scuba gear shop ; a 60s style fast food restaurant and a fishing supply store. Also available are gasoline and a small bar. The area allows the rezzing of your boat. Just need to be extra careful not to hit the two ducks and their ducklings swimming around the dock area when mooring your boat.

4. Barnacle Bill's Music Bar

Owned by Mr. Grimrod, this next one is a fabulous and very well build seaside village with the bar; dance area surrounded by small carnival and food booths that sell seafood and vegetables. On the opposite side of the bar, there is a small shop selling fresh seafood and fishing supplies The specialty here is the canned Dead Crab Stew that is freshly cook and canned for sales.

These 4 are all open to public access and will offer the residents living on any island parcels good places to roleplay your shopping and exercise needs and also good places to hangout with friends and family. It is always fun to take a boat or heli trip to stock up your supplies occasionally and make your island lifestyle much more immersive.
